Race

Hare, turtle, young and old
Slim, fast, fat and slow
Don’t you rush, rather hush hush
Let it flow, let it flow
Take you aim, fire at will
Take them out, blow by blow
Sapiens with courage, stop at nothing
Others scream, in voices hollow

      1. Sorry about that, it is rain and cold in England most of the time as well so you are in good company πŸ™‚

  1. Good photo!
All of my kids (all grown up and on their own) run in marathons and 5 and 10 K’s, etc.
It’s nice to see each of these ladies going at their own pace and still accomplishing something great! πŸ™‚
    HUGS!!! πŸ™‚

  2. I seem to be in the turtle category these days, my running days definitely over. Yet, even knowing this, I do my best. I really enjoyed this, AB. Thank you! Rushing no matter what age, is futile. Just sayin’. πŸ˜‰ LOL Love, Amy

      1. You are welcome, AB. I live with one who constantly rushes, and I inwardly sigh, because that Lesson must be learned by that person. My thoughts or words of advice would only hit a brick wall. Rushing only accomplishes one thing …. increased stress. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. I say why not, love to see an Olympic race where participants are chosen from the crowd and the one who is most flamboyant wins πŸ™‚
