Top secret

When I was young I created a long list of things to do and places to visit. I also created a set of skills which I thought would greatly benefit me to live a fulfilling life. Finally I also promised myself that whatever happens I don’t want to live a life which is just ordinary. This is the place where I will tell you what extraordinary things are happening around me. Those could be meeting amazing people, visiting great places or having a crazy idea. You are more than welcome to take these words/images away and make your own, just a word of acknowledgement will make my day.

      4. You are answering your own question. Long post are difficult to read, message could be conveyed in a shorter condensed version and people will respond. One post one message, this will increase your frequency and presence. 🙂

      5. I have tried many a short post thinking the same thing. – But, still many speedy likers and well, not many comments.. (I am going to offer a post on this sore subject later next month..) The post today is not long, mostly just short poems.. The post about the Sacred Grail, (not written by me) was long, but certainly seemed to be appreciated by readers… Thanks so much for taking the time to give advice. eve

      9. Hi! When you don’t like a post then don’t “like.” I am not asking you to like every post I write.. Word press is the only one gaining when we dishonestly “like” something we have not read or does not appeal. No need for that. Best to find just a few blogs that really appeal and like and comment upon those.. This is not a numbers game. Myself, I love photos, and I like many a blog with photos uploads. I do not much like personal blogs with rants, especially about how awful life is today… I already know life is rough for most of us.. Thanks for the truth.. eve

  44. You´r a smart man, making a bucket list since a young age and if you acomplished everything you´re the man! And those are some cool places you´ve been too, also a lucky man.

    By the way, where the hell are the tags, and what exactly are tags! I´m not that good in internet widgets gadgets social media things…..But I know there is something called twitter!

They are underneath every post, so on the top of the post you should be seeing categories and at the end of the post just before comments and after like button (with bloggers list who liked a particular article) you should see tags. I am assuming you are using PC or MAC are looking at these posts through a web browser.

  48. You seem to speak your thoughts and feelings very clearly and honestly. That alone is a rare gift. Learning to turn those words into a beautiful bouquet of flowers takes time, practice and plenty of experimenting with words and the typical perception of language and form. I find reading helps just as much as writing. You will find things in the pieces that resonate with you that will help you find your own form and style. I don’t think I would be the same writer if I had never read Henry Miller, or Fyodor Dostoyevsky, or Kurt Vonnegut – and countless other authors.

    There’s really no such thing as proper poetry. Keep writing and sharing your thoughts – even if it only ever touches one person, it was worth it. 🙂

    I agree with the commenting. It’s very hard – or impossible – to find the time to comment on all the work I am following. A simple like is always a great way to give feedback and recognition. I thank you for your kind words and am glad you take the time to like the pieces that touch you.

  51. Hey.. Thanks for following me.. And your continued interest in my works.. 🙂 I was just going through your poems.. Very nice ones… The recent ones at least.
    Just a random comment. I noticed one great difference though in my style from yours.. I’m more focused on rap verses and unable write like you can. And despite continued efforts failing to do that well.. Any piece of advice on that?

Simple advice..don’t push yourself to do something you are not comfortable with…it will be difficult for me to go your way 🙂 why not push boundaries in your genre and experiment there…I do all sort of experiments with my words. I am a humble being who knows nothing about poetic form so please don’t think about my poem conform to any particular type. Good luck and keep writing 🙂

    Thank you for following my blog. I know how many interesting blogs are out there and feel honored that you picked mine to follow. I hope my stories entertain and inform and my photos bring you joy and wonderment.
    I travel mostly local but try to always find interesting places. I have lived in several different places and dig through my archives of photos to bring glimpses into places I have been. Sometimes I post a recipe because food tells a lot about culture.
    I am not a professional photographer, so my photos are sometimes a little fuzzy and there are telephone poles and wires and other things along with what I was photographing. The older photos are 35mm, the newer are point and shoot digital and a few are Samsung Smartphone.
    I am new to blogging so if you have any advice or critique please drop me a comment.

  70. hey, I think iv commented on your poetry before, but your pictures? do you take them your self? what is this style of photography called? Iv never studied photography so I don’t know. How or why is there so many bright and vivid colors? Do you do something to the pics or is it the camera? I know its not your M.O and your poetry and pics tell a story in a way but could you do a short bio or tell some stories form your travels? If I didn’t mention it before your site is one of my favs and im just a little courious about the author… and the colors 🙂

Re your question about my images, yes all photos on this blog have been taken and processed by me. Re how I make these colours vivid, you can do that by editing a photo, sometimes I don’t have to, for example, in my recent post ‘Lazy’ all images are unedited. 🙂 once again appreciate your time. AB
