Just a kiss in between
a mere heartbeat
moving in the same direction
same moments
away, alone,
watching, staring
never daring
to change the path
to cross the line
saving parallel
universes
angel, divine
who are you,
can’t be human
as I lay myself bare
waiting for your stare
to touch me somehow

Head in the water

Hiding from what is known,
eyes closed to apparent, shown,
Intelligence on a loan,
no changes to routine,
will end up penniless and alone

Introspection

Beak pinching my heart, blood drips and drips
Intentionally prolonged journeys, mind trips,
Hopping on solitary after war leg,
going down a hill, falling off a cliff, nothing grips
Just, only just, twinkling memory of your lips
Keeping me edgingly sane

Warp speed

Lungs full of cleanest air
Letting go utter despair
Embracing hope, calmness brings
Sense of release, newly grown wings
Speed away and fly afar,
Bravest being, brightest star
