What is real, what is fact
All seems to be an act
real ones try to fake it
minting wealth, rake it
world doesn’t value truth
reality never be smooth
Birds shouldn’t have any brains
Blondes, mallards, cranes
media, views insane
thousand million fans
collect more, act inane,
Prodigious sharp minds wasted
thinking about how food tasted
forgetting what is crumbling
atmosphere, water resources humbling
who will solve world’s misery
truth tellers handled derisory
mocked and kicked in the teeth
killed, laid with ordinary wreaths
earth soul screams and cries
to see how sapiens destroy
dejected me you don’t see now
all left is a happy ruse, decoy!!

panic stricken deeds
crisis has struck
calm is in need
have relaxed nerves

Universe trolls through parchment of existence
Finding faults, grave errors, here and here
Voyage continues at pulse’s insistence
Fatal mundane passage, no one dares
Except I, matters not what happens,
Death is easy, life scares

Dangers ahead
Odds defied
Success near
Release your fear

Breathe
I sense the warm air
Touching my eyes
Opening them to
a beautiful world
Words are not needed
don’t worry about them
Sometimes let the smiles
do their chores
Those lazy cats

Four friends and an octopus

Four little Lily pads
Went to the sea
Want to see
Her Majesty

Unending waters
Shores not known
Fables and tales
Of the days bygone

As they got near
their hearts filled with fear
The mighty sea
was showing its colours

winds strong, waves flow
strong tides, high brow
At the bay, out of their way
lived the kind Octopus
Saw these novices

Unable to move
Unable to enjoy
The turquoise blue
Ocean glue

Beautiful sun
Or have any fun
Calmed them down
By singing a song

Let them drink
Something strong
Mood restored
Fear no more

They went in
Lagoon grinned
Met the wise coral
Heard from her
Ethics and morals

Eel came around
Electricity abound
Charged their hearts
Journey restarts

it was time to go
Back to their pond
Pads truly happy
Wanted octopus along

For him to see
Beautiful world
beyond this sea
He came by
Thoroughly enjoyed

The tranquility
Life quality
Of calmer waters
And smaller beings
No adventure of the sea
Just contentment and glee

She is gone

It is a sad day
She is gone
Leaving us all
Never to return
Hearts just burn!
