Funeral of the last butterfly

I was invited
to the funeral
of the last butterfly
All the birds were there
Insects made a wreath
Queen bee sung a melancholy
Grief too great to bear
Colours already left
Now the last butterfly gone
Everyone felt so lonely
Earthlings were alone
Far away in the sky
a thunder cloud
lightning strike,
a Phoenix flew in
Tears in its eyes,
sprayed on butterfly wings
Butterfly come to life
In all our hearts
Light of her soul
removed despair
Humanity wake up
When would you care
Planet is for all
We have to share
Might won’t work
win if we dare
Extinction of plants
Insects, animals all admire
Greenery in gardens
Fields and shire
Everything could go
If we don’t spare
Consume less,
Don’t scare
Nature, heavens
Water, our own air
Wind may blow
So does rain
Last butterfly
may flutter again
I wish, hope and pray

Chameleon

Sky, are you blue, is that true?
Depends, says my good old friend
If you are angry and I agree
I could be red with many dead
Don’t be so mad, making me sad
what happens next
I could be pink, in shame I sink
errors of judgement, I blush and blink
Violet the new colour, becomes this blue
Confused without clue
When you are not around
Nowhere to be found
Unable to hear your sound
I get grey, my clouds in tears
Sapiens destroy sister earth
Scared for her, million fears
I am white, the bright knight
cleaning smog, jealousy, spite
I am dark and black, come soon
Light me up, make me laugh
my funny cousin moon
When the king sun arrives
as court jester in space
I spray colours filling my face
to keep him amused, I hope he stays
That’s the story I could tell today
plenty more still, come another day

Alert

Every moment life changes
Observe, reflect and react
don’t worry much about rumours
be very ready to act on a fact
Have courage to go against the tide
Peers not to admire, elders will chide
have fortitude to stay the course
Loneliness not deter nor does force
Pioneers pains are many never few
May the force be always with you!

Response

There is free will
You may not feel
Through poverty and pain
Evil occupying your brain
Heart breaks making you insane
You think I ordain
All this for my pleasure
the suffering you see
Was not meant to be
Humanity had, has,
will have a choice
To rejoice, to enjoy fruits
Of nature, sun and sea
Why blame on me
Go after pursuits
Go after their goals
Not like this, not at all like this
One digging another’s grave
When a child need to saved
from brutality, inequality
No one comes forward,
No one saves,
Millions get killed for
wishes of one insanely mad
How sad,
DO YOU UNDERSTAND, HOW SAD
that makes me, breaks me
Yes your lord feel broken
for sins of my creation
I think about annihilation
All the time, just smiles save you
children playing for a while, save you
borrowed time all you got
there are battles, you should have fought
Stead, ran away the whole lot
Free will is not for thee
You serve evil as you please
and foolishly hope
there be no consequences
Why? Answer me why?
heaven and hell is afterwards
first see the wrath
because of your actions
family, connections, factions
Humanity split in small sections
Working for each other’s destruction
May be I should do this
end this game,
then who would be to blame,
I, norm restored
fault bestowed

Rise

Since the time
you set
Birds eagerly wait
Don’t be late
Rise, and state
your purpose…
To serve to see
humanity be
What it is…
I fail to rise
Sapiens will cry
Earth will die

Commute

One short journey, two thoughts…

1. Silly one first
Train train go away
Come again another day
Heart just wants to stay
No hard toil, just pure play

2. Slightly pensive one –
When the journey commences
we look behind
find nothing but
dust of our thoughts
hardship we brought
by thinking too much
not acting enough
before the moment has passed

Far away

Miles across valleys
in terraces, ridges, meadows,
sense a presence,
in long dark shadows
a silhouette of past happiness
wish I could reach again
trust I could regain
open your heart
let clouds of my lost wishes in
it is not a sin, to beg forgiveness
