Wishes, slow burning wax
Keep flickering, giving light,
flaming hopes, heaven send
Till the very very end

Sinners and saints
Desires ignored,
deeds no match
throw away wine
Holy water to fetch
Repent, promises
is there a catch
Just no logical
Observable or fathomable
guarantee, that
Heaven will be there
Angels will care
Dames will share
Love, kindness
Such is this
sexist promise
Some sinners
Trying destiny
Admiring mutiny
Go for the kill
The whole hog
Still, yes, still,
Desires unfulfilled
Misunderstood guilt
Palaces built
Demolished, rebuilt
No satisfaction
In each situation
Just live and die,
Only God knows why…
Post Cards from Paris

2. I am not drunk the building is just leaning on me
3. Why so far, did I say something?
Paris – postcards II
One more London place
roaming aimlessly,
clicking shamelessly
carefree and serene
a midday scene
trying to ignore
the storm in store
blood and gore
that has become
our world
that much intolerance
death and violence
children not spared
elderly not cared
humanity badly fared
attack and revenge
mindless avenge
Peshawar is charred
Parisiens life scarred
innocent blood
spilled and flood
the gates of heaven
tears trickle down
resolve breakdown
no optimism trace
deepening sorrow I face
in the false serenity,
eerie calmness
of one more London place
