Priorities

If life is a race
to the top
you realise
conceptualise

doesn’t really matter
how much you stall
at the end you fall
Gravity pulls hard

all what ultimately
logically, if unwilling then
sometimes tragically
belongs to earth’s bosom

pick a colour
from soul’s prism
as long as it has love
humility and care

take your time, dig deep
for a perfect spot
to lie in loving,
embrace of our mother

Pockets full, empty hands

Life’s conversation
discussion, education
a sermon on Sunday
Friday, Saturday, Monday
Purpose, aims, objects
strategy, plans, subject
to what happens next
treachery and tact
opportunities, endless goals
chasing wealth blackholes
working beyond hard
souls and flesh apart
Morals integrity auctions
anger, heartless eruptions
more and more we make
Death due, nothing to take

Let flowers have their day

summer long gone
evergreens all alone
fallen leaves, distraught trees
with season long memories
requested, pleaded,
guilty as charge,
let flowers have a day,
oh Lord incharge,
let leaves live nostalgia
removing ember traces
for a long moment or two
sunshine on their faces
grey goes green
branches fresh, lean
cold having a recess
colours spread in excess
blues, orange, strong hue
violet, pink, getting their due
sunflower open and fresh
weeds runaway in a dash
grass becoming bare feet plush
roses having a mighty crush
love and merriment in the air
depression crying it is not fair
it is supposed to be her season
rain, cold, illness many reasons
enough is enough, time to rescind
day has passed, deep chill in the wind

Not in the mood

to kiss, the most beautiful few
to miss, anyone else or you
to lit, a revolutionary fire
submit, to lust and desire
to lie, gain fake applause
to die, for an ill thought cause
to pry, on innocent young
go high, with white coke dung
to leave, my spirit alone
believe, patriotism on loan
aspire, to reach at the top
expire, before the last stop
lend, undeserved golden spoon
end, my struggle so soonIMG_0123.JPG

I do

Take my heart
it is for free
if in return I get thee
There is a contradiction
you realise
without me the deal
won’t materialise
free means nothing
in return you should ask
throw away the cloak
remove the mask
get down on your knees
and with passion task
sweetly, most humbly
present your heart
And that my dear
would be a good start
for our journey
which after few years
feel like eternity
bring down tears
Why o why
you went for the trade
life was much simpler
before that
Colossal
Gigantic
Humongous
mistake you made 🙂
