Pink’s departing words

when it left flowers, lips, palms of young hands
giving in, giving up to blood red, it said

Miles across,
no soul around
Crying and screaming
No way could be found
Ocean keep talking
Waves making sound
Language not certain
Message was clear
You will never see again
Whatever you hold dear
Hallucinations frequent
Mirages abound to bear
Insanity on a stick
Same on front and rear
Steer and steer
Life’s boat, till the end

Why lie low
go with the flow
never let it go
a painting
a brush
evening bleakness
morning rush
early youth
late crush
curtains
light
blindness
sight
underground
in flight
on the surface
from a height
shooting stars
phoney wars
new planes
vintage cars
never stop
clicking shots
that’s what
you’ve got
rest, ignore
the whole lot

Insanity

Look beyond the veil
You may find me insane
Hopping, cheering
Love endearing

Master of illusion
Lows and highs
Going nowhere
Reaching the skies

Suffering, cursing
And rehearsing
Life is a play
role in decay

Nothing at stake
why working so hard?
I don’t do logic
unfinished tasks!

Only ends with life
when I would
be quickly forgotten
never understood

Look beyond the veil
You may find me insane
Hopping, cheering
Love endearing

Master of illusion
Lows and highs
Going nowhere
Reaching the skies

Suffering, cursing
And rehearsing
Life is a play

why working so hard?

saving humanity
from evil
naive insanity
shelter is required
from within
deep darkness acquired
murder, rape, genocide
innocents terrified
millions have died
devices owned, loaned
to each other, destroying further
womb of the mother
as if there is another
Earth! kindness in dearth
ruthlessness in plenty
guilty without guilt
blood has been bled
necks have been slit
in the name of
innocent, pure humanity,
a fake blue amulet
to protect such insanity
a cry, screams reaching sky
madly probing, again and again, why!
