Sweat runs, forehead to toenail
Time has stopped in sweltering heat
Chores get accomplished at the speed of snail
All muscles go, all systems fail
How much more do I sacrifice for this pittance!
An arm and a limb, a hit or a cut
Take your given tools, have a go in the rut
Excruciating pain, then you stop abrupt
Thanking your marbles you weren’t born without luck

Lessons

It is eight again
getting late again
tempting fate again
love and hate again

Time is quickly passing
as a matter of apparent fact
enough of this lethargy,
grow up, decide and act

expecting something quite different,
while repeating errors the same,
stop being in naivety lane
or pretending to be extremely lame

hard work, courage, determination
discover new meanings, ways
dishonesty, two faces run away
Good deeds will surely stay

Life being hard, get use to it
worrying will not take you far
enjoy these topsy turvy journeys
accomplish, before ashes in a jar

Let’s not talk about affection
How about sins
How about grins
How about bins
With haste we speak
What a waste we seek
Sharpening our beaks
To call people names
Putting some to shame
Let’s not talk about compassion
How about lust
How about a tryst
How about mist
In kisses we hurry
In open spaces we worry
Fog makes faces blurry
Allow us to tame
Emotions and same
Let’s not talk about Love
I know about my state
I know about my fate
Who loves me, who hates
For redemption
Forgiveness
I am afraid,
It’s rather too late!

How much you have seen
Where have you been

Bare hands, hard work
Clearing cleaning others dirt
No amount in pension
no car no mansion
Just me and my brush
Nothing urgent no rush

scorching heat
head to toe sweat
hands getting tired
nails are wet
Hard work,
heart’s work
Created art work
priceless,
sold for pennies
true artists few
fakes so many

Dangle

Work, work, work
Carriage with cages
Dangling along for wages
A hard day ahead
I work till I am dead
Still that is not enough

Survival

Empty hands
Empty stomachs
How will we survive today
You are around
Luck abound
Let’s pass another day
Life’s perils
Will not matter
Together we need to stay
