∞ Infinity

Counting
Tears in an ocean of sorrows
Counting
dropped leaves on an autumn day

Counting
Days to a joyous morrow
Counting
Smiles on a sunny bright day

Counting
Love expressed by infatuated
Counting
Dreams in a child’s sleep

Counting
Madness of crowds when poked
Counting
Burnt angel wings when a heart weeps

Counting
Steps on way to fabled heaven
Counting
Long sighs during a short tryst

Counting
Lost moments, wasted efforts
Counting
and counting infinity’s infinite list

Beginning of the end

Those rhymes I sung
When I was little
Front bells I rung
Before running away
Shouting top of my lungs
Old anthems of brave
Bees who stung
Anywhere I could touch
On those trees we hung
As days passed away
Bit by bit I am losing you all
Memories where art thou
Where else dear old fellow
Just on the tip of your tongue

Let flowers have their day

summer long gone
evergreens all alone
fallen leaves, distraught trees
with season long memories
requested, pleaded,
guilty as charge,
let flowers have a day,
oh Lord incharge,
let leaves live nostalgia
removing ember traces
for a long moment or two
sunshine on their faces
grey goes green
branches fresh, lean
cold having a recess
colours spread in excess
blues, orange, strong hue
violet, pink, getting their due
sunflower open and fresh
weeds runaway in a dash
grass becoming bare feet plush
roses having a mighty crush
love and merriment in the air
depression crying it is not fair
it is supposed to be her season
rain, cold, illness many reasons
enough is enough, time to rescind
day has passed, deep chill in the wind

Harvest

Miles across the plains
Green and golden lands
Harvest season, hard working hands
Toils of thousand human years
Bearing fruits, apples, pears
Smiling, content, yeoman radiant
Faring better than all his peers

Sheer stupidity aka soul mates separation

a small wooden structure,
few random walls
separating us into
worlds of our own
million miles’ distance
across few inches
your uncountable admirers,
I feel all alone
even an open wide passage
will not build bridges
innumerable valleys,
unsurpassable ridges
tunnelling my way
through to your heart
too much pain to pass
before I can start
life has passed,
lost love never found
killed heart didn’t cry,
never made a sound
soul still searches,
and searches once more
can we find each other,
before shutting the life door
