Saint

The field is full of flowers
Singing to this tryst
Song of the reed
Quenching our thirst
Looking for redemption
You sin first!

What if
Everything we hear was true
What if
fairies drink lots of brew
What if
Emotions become real again
What if
Pride lost, humanity regains
What if,
Friends are united and strong
What if,
Past untangles, tells where you belong
What if,
Morning sun, give tides of joy
What if,
Moon at dusk, played with toys
What if,
I am able to write a song
What if,
All of you came and sang along

That would be truly wonderful 🙂

Fire

An arrow launched
in the air, fire in its belly
winged beetles chased
They met on horizon top
Kissed the sweet flare of death
Inferno sparks, crescendos heard
We just saw how fire works
It’s dark magic, tragic!

Home

However it is
It’s my home
My castle, my life
In hunger, in strife
My refuge, my dome
It’s my home

Don’t say bad things
it’s not posh
You look through my eyes
It’s better than
White House
It’s better than
even Rome
It’s my home

Life has been tough
I hit the rough
many times
Each time I know
What to read
Where is my tome
It’s my home

Invaders have come
Bruises and some
Scorching sun
Making sure I burn
This will be life, and
catacomb
It’s my home

Gift

been given the ultimate gift
soul elating heart lift
end senseless drift

silk soft hand
kissing grass, feeling sand
beauty and charm heaven send

accept these with open arms
beautiful bouquet of charms
cold heart warms

renewed life begins
new day, dawn commence
soul filled with joy immense

Mundanity

when life manifests chaos
you are unable to recognise
what and who you are
solace and penance indistinguishable
realisation dawns, on lush green lawns
that you, and your imagination
have gone mad, by at least half
Most maddening, loud laughs
your hear is your sensibility
mocking your insistence
naive persistence, to escape boundaries
foundries, of smelting ore of human fabric
resistance is futile, join the laughter
eat some food, smell some flowers,
and live happily after
