Mighty heart beams
Happiness out of seams
A smile telling all
For a bundle so small
girl for a girl, it seems
most joyful being

Fountain

Water flows into deep pores
Pressure builds, Rhythm builds
From a still, to splash, life initiates
a drama, a scene, never the same
It may look mundane,
stale to some, look again
paths have slightly moved
people aged a little,
life belittles, our ignorance

I beg

My dearest friend
I kneel and beg
the words
you don’t hear
are not good
Once spoken
all will change
and our exchange
will become
you will punish me
finish me
This pain is so cruel
My mind and my heart
fighting a duel
It will kill
standing still
the hurt is not gone
Can we roll back time
move to days bygone
And not love again

Longing

Desires are mere manifestations of our souls
Cravings we have, inseparable hearts
Beating million miles apart
In a parallel universe
Song of longing and belonging
To us, to you, to universe
Reality is lost somewhere in between
Creates a tornado of affection never seen
Come, reside in my dark lump of blood
It becomes a red rose in the garden of Eden
A palace of unmatched beauty
Once you have been
Visit me once in a blue moon, latent maiden

Reflections

Sweet dreams caressing my eyes
Your voice giving solitude a hope
The day I see you, happiness unfathomable
Will come, alas, my heart won’t cope
Throw a few rose petals on my coffin!

Humanity – the book

The current civilisation of Human species has come a long way in the last five thousand years. The technology is mesmerising, architecture astounding and knowledge is touching nebulae and far flung galaxies. Our values however are perhaps not showing same level of progress. There is continuous war and hunger. Inequality is increasing every moment, pursuit of wealth has made most of us blind from the misery of our brethren living just few moments away from us. Environment is a concern for the tree hugging minority only. Destruction of forests, extinctions of wildlife species and increasing temperatures globally is a commonality not even worthy of daily news anymore. This age of individuality and trying to live life through social media has made our planet more ignorant, less tolerant and a troll infested realm. I hope, wish and pray that some of these terrible trends will reverse in the not so distant future and humanity snaps out of this current craze of abominable behaviour. This short book of poems and images try to highlight my humble observations in an abstract setting.

Gardens, palaces, squares
A city full of passion
Hot, boiling blood
Never out of fashion

I have seen her
She is around
Looking destitute
With gloomy eyes
Want to give her

Bare arms with red, blue

Zero to infinity

First experiment in publication…please take a look at ‘Zero to Infinity’ a short book with ten poems at iBooks store…since love, devotion and thoughts are priceless, this book is free. I have created it over one of the weekends so apologies in advance for any typos and navigation issues that you may experience. If you like it then please spread the word.
