Which way to fall
Trees are tall
I may get hurt
Or tear my shirt
Help me get down
Going to town

Immensely sad
If you leave like that

What have I done
Not going to run
Just errand away
Won’t forget my way
Little green leaf
Then wait for Mr Fall
You will naturally fall
Tree be asleep
Time will stall
The leaf waited
for Fall dear fellow
Changed its colour
Red and yellow
Left the tree
Felt so free
Hit the ground
Flew to the bend

Sky, are you blue, is that true?
Depends, says my good old friend
If you are angry and I agree
I could be red with many dead
Don’t be so mad, making me sad
what happens next
I could be pink, in shame I sink
errors of judgement, I blush and blink
Violet the new colour, becomes this blue
Confused without clue
When you are not around
Nowhere to be found
Unable to hear your sound
I get grey, my clouds in tears
Sapiens destroy sister earth
Scared for her, million fears
I am white, the bright knight
cleaning smog, jealousy, spite
I am dark and black, come soon
Light me up, make me laugh
my funny cousin moon
When the king sun arrives
as court jester in space
I spray colours filling my face
to keep him amused, I hope he stays
That’s the story I could tell today

When nature strikes hard
Lives are lost
Humanity responds

Armies disbanded

Nature cured
Food abound
Can we live

of poor’s pains

Desires ignored,
deeds no match
throw away wine
Holy water to fetch
Repent, promises
is there a catch
Just no logical
Observable or fathomable
guarantee, that
Heaven will be there
Angels will care
Dames will share
Love, kindness
Such is this
sexist promise
Some sinners
Trying destiny
Admiring mutiny
Go for the kill
The whole hog
Still, yes, still,
Desires unfulfilled
Misunderstood guilt
Palaces built
Demolished, rebuilt
No satisfaction
In each situation
Just live and die,
Only God knows why…
