Distances
In between
Shortest
as the crow flies
I can see your eyes
Farthest
When mind defies
the heart
Running away
No matter
All paths
in the valley
of sorrow
Leads
Feeds
to you
and back
this is bitter and sweet. I bow at your ability to express what most of us feel at one time or another..for our dearest and nearest…who are too far away.
Are all these fotos of your collection. They are very pretty.
I sympathize with your anguished heart and wish you greater joys ahead.
Man these photos are breathtaking! Love the poem too~

I like this combination very much, AB. And I’m astounded at the kind of housing – it looks like it could be here in Oz (but for the terracing) …

I am also surprised, the connection, strangely enough, could be English as former masters they really liked these hills and valleys 🙂

It was taken in Nathiagali in Pakistan, it is a high altitude resort 2 hours away from the capital, Islamabad 🙂

The contrast of the roof colors and patterns of the terraces is captivating. Beautiful post.
