A kind stranger I met
We kept talking and he said
You know she was beautiful
I only have few regrets
I should have kissed her more
Should have loved her sore
Should have hugged till dusk
Keep smelling her musk
Should have played all nights
Visited far away sites
Should have laughed on her jokes
Gave all till I was broke
Should have smiled when she blushed
Made her calm when she rushed
She was all I had
I just worked instead
Now she is gone I am alone
In this world on my own
Have kids and such
But (with tears in his eyes), he said
I miss her so so much
Then we drank in her memory
He said don’t feel sorry
I am counting my days
In all possible ways
Waiting to meet her again
Body loses and I gain
My freedom to fly
The day I die
We become one again

Quite moving, AB.
Good if you have faith.

M R it is the hope, faith plays a part, but doesn’t matter religion or otherwise, we all the same destiny, death and then we are all in this big speculative unknown or become one with the nature…

I am really pleased that you like the message, just to ensure that you fully understand, the picture inspired the poem however the story told is not of the person in the image, it is perhaps of someone I know but have not been told to me in those or similar words and is a creation of my brain more than anything else. I am more than happy for you to reblog however wanted to make sure you understand the creative process involved rather than consider it a true story. In summary it is a true reflection of my heart rather than anyone else and I do believe in the message conveyed that we end up giving importance to unimportant things in life and the regret that later on…once the truly beautiful time and perhaps people we love have passed. Thank you and stay blessed

That is one of the most touching stories I think I have ever heard! His truth to admit earthy treasures do not give all the simple pleasures that we need to live in peace. The truth is simple, we are spiritual beings having a human experience! My vision of God is taught through those whom are willing to open their eyes. The words of this man was given as a gift to wake us, persuading our hearts. I’m thankful you shared this for it opened my heart. I
I’m going to reblog this because people need to become aware of the things that are truly important. You do not mind if I do?
