Sinners and saints

Desires ignored,
deeds no match
throw away wine
Holy water to fetch
Repent, promises
is there a catch
Just no logical
Observable or fathomable
guarantee, that
Heaven will be there
Angels will care
Dames will share
Love, kindness
Such is this
sexist promise
Some sinners
Trying destiny
Admiring mutiny
Go for the kill
The whole hog
Still, yes, still,
Desires unfulfilled
Misunderstood guilt
Palaces built
Demolished, rebuilt
No satisfaction
In each situation
Just live and die,
Only God knows why…

  1. This made me think of the book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible. It was written by King Solomon, who was considered the wisest man to ever live. He pondered life, meaninglessness, wisdom, riches, folly, work, toil, etc. I especially thought of the verse in Ecclesiastes 5:18-20. Check it out when you get the chance.

  2. Is Sacré Coeur near the Moulin Rouge ? – or is that merely for your porpoises ? Whichever, I shall forgive the admonitions inherent and advise that I LIKE IT.

  3. Yes, crazy. You know what I think. We tend to hold to the “delusion” “I’m it and that’s the world out there”, when we are a part of a whole being in reality.
