Thank you for liking “Hot Air Balloons” and “Mermaid.” Intriguing post! 🙂 I have not been to the Maldives, but your photo brought back some happy memories when I used to live in Florida and visited the beach with my family almost every weekend.
Your poem reminds me how contradictory life can be. One day all of these misfortunes befall you, and you are miserable. However, the next day life runs smoothly. The sun is out, and things are better.
Even though we seem doomed to be burdened by disappointment, sorrow, and other negative emotions as we go through life, I am thankful that we can choose not to let them diminish our capacity to appreciate the beauty and wonder of life.
