Unlucky

Coin flipped, stood on its edge
Balancing fate to extraordinary chance
Thinkers thought, tinkers did
resolution to age old escape
create mind numbing chore
deeply rotten crumbling core
path to ruin, gold crusted lore
trapped inside, genie in a bottle
throttle and throttle,
deflowering foreordination

  2. Such sad addiction! I will always remember the Vegas airport where I often changed planes to get to Phoenix. There are slot machines everywhere and most were being used by quite elderly people whom I thought had better use of their money.

    1. Dude, I wish I had put that much thought, I go with what my heart tells me to write and don’t think too much about the message or composition or form 🙂
