I have seen her
She is around
Looking destitute
With gloomy eyes
Want to give her
All her life back
Then I see her
Bare arms with red, blue
Dark spots under the rags
I understand
why she lost everything
Why she begs!
Beautiful!
Those eyes
which are empty yet filled
pierce me
and I was hypnotized
they tell
they’ve nothing
that’s why there’s no loss
No words to say
I just tried to change.
Thank you 🙂 slightly unsure how to respond to your wish, other than I think you probably can do much better than this 🙂 my humble words are just that humble!
This reminds me of a song I started on and haven’t finished yet about the situation of poor women in north-east Brazil. The second verse goes like this:
An old lay lies
On the side of a dusty road
Weakened by hunger
Poor and forgotten
Hoping someone will pass
And leave her a little cash
What do you think
Is going on in
The heart of her
creator.
Bless you AB
=)
Sometimes we wait too long and our emotions are gone is something soulful like this, hope you don’t mind my encouragement, hit it when it is hot Staci 🙂
I definitely appreciate the encouragement AB. Always appreciated. Actually, I started this song a long time ago. I just don’t know how to finish it. The first verse is about a 10 year old girl that was selling her body to provide food for her family. Anyhow, this conversation between us has encouraged me to seek out completing it. I’ll make sure you’re one of the first to know when I do.
=)
Thanks Staci, stay blessed and stay encouraged…your soul is amazing, make it happen for her…end the last verse perhaps what humanity could without just asking for divine intervention!
Interesting idea. I really want my songs to make a difference so that would be a great way actually to bring it to a close. I just need to figure out how people could go about helping or what humanity could do.
Thanks AB.
Humanity could work together
In a circle of life
Where money is not the foremost
Important thing to crave,
Passion has a place,
Everyone’s life, breathes carry the same
Value, putting the most richest to shame
to eat well become a human right
Rulers involve with all their might
To help destitute, tortured souls
Earth evolves as whole
To become a better place
So moving.

Brilliant AB. Now let’s just get a ton of others on board eh. Wouldn’t that be great.

It would be, the richest few hundreds control more than poorest 6 billion….
