I did not take it as criticism I was thrilled for you to even assume that I can even borrow from Shelley and could do some with what he wrote, my words just came as wanted to write that I am just a humble soul, most of the time I don’t know what I am talking about…,this time I most sincerely apologise for misunderstanding my response caused. Please destroy my poem, obliterate my concept, never stop 🙂 I like it 🙂 from you only 🙂
M R it can be more than odd bit, you are amazing enough to critically look at my work (while most people won’t bother), I will be thrilled if you do more…,and say to me, wake up AB this one doesn’t make sense or is utter rubbish, put me to my place 🙂
That’s more like it 🙂 English is my third language, sometimes I am not sure my words convey what I intend, deeply appreciate your patience and guidance 🙂
I wish I could touch them,
just caress them
Kiss them with my fingers.
life is just the same
Air more moist, soul pirates
Trying to steal hearts
Every time I look across
With that fake eyepatch
Made of rose petal,
Proving fatal
Is it you?
Do you feel that
You’ve done it again
Pain in my throat
Thundar in my chest
Because of you
Not the sort to hurt
Anyone, not even you
Protect this lady
Rose petals always for you
Hearts on sleeves
Many try to move me
A poet knows
Where true hearts live
Keep that beat drumming
Keep that thoughts in flames
I love these sonnets,
rhythms and nonets
As they come out of your heart
And bring dawn to my day
Adorning every passage, every way
I call life
Bonjour Zingara 🙂 I need to respond this in English, actually I never read Shelley in my life as my poetic influences are great Urdu (national language of Pakistan) and Sindhi (mother tongue) poets of the east Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, so no I did not copy his words it is just a a mere coincidence 🙂 so I am humbled if someone thought that my words compare 🙂 M R means well, I take lots of inspiration from her 🙂
Dreams… The place where me and my lover meet
Together there we feel our hearts beat
As in unison fulfilling each other’s needs
Dreams are such a delightful treat
I believe you’re borrowng (only slightly!) from Shelley, in terms of Ozymandias … But there’s the added charm of love waiting forever.

except for my few breathes of solitude
No word belong to me, nothing I own

It wasn’t meant as a criticism, you idiot! – and I didn’t mean you were plagiarising!!! I can see I must not say anything even faintly … off.

You mean, you appreciate the odd bit of constructive criticism? OK then. I’ll provide it every now and then. 😀

Your day beginning
Mine calls towards ending
Always too soon
When I’m with you
See my tears
As I sense you leaving
My soul begins screaming
