Never you?
And never me?
How could it be
I thought
We are bound
Life long
After life
Eternity
How could you
Be so cruel
Leaving me
Treating me
Disposable
Throwable
Ignorable?
Simple one
Beautiful, with
a dimple, one
It’s not you
It’s just me
Scoundrel
Deplorable
Scum of the earth
Horrible
I did it once
Will do it again
Just like to see
Everyone
in pain
You can
hate me
Berate me
Just don’t forgive
Curse me
Immerse me
In dark deep
Fires of hell
That’s where
I belong
for life long
Eternity
Not with you
Just with me!

Golly! – I hope you are not in the process of a broken heart, AB … If you are, I feel for you.

AB,
You found interesting my post “The Wagon”. The Alcoholic: Dark Side. http://throughharoldslens.com/2013/10/03/the-wagon-the-alcoholic/.
This post is part of a three-part photographic/short story series on The Alcoholic. I thought perhaps you might want to see, or pass along, the other three posts:
“Breakfast”. The Alcoholic: Dark Side. http://throughharoldslens.com/2013/10/06/breakfast-the-alcoholic-2/
“Dear Daddy.” The Alcoholic: Dark Side. http://throughharoldslens.com/2013/10/01/dear-daddy-the-alcoholic/
“Stages”. The Alcoholic: Dark Side. http://throughharoldslens.com/2013/09/25/stages-european-tour/
My hope is that this series will help some alcoholic, some family, somewhere in our world.
On behalf of the Through Harold’s Lens Creative Team, Mr. SLR Nikon, his brother Mr. Pen Pal and myself, we invite other interested folks to join us on our journeys on http://throughharoldslens.com.
Best Regards,
Harold

Thank you so much, I like this style, recently a fellow blogger posted a poem and when I responded (you know me 🙂 ) this was the answer, just like that, words just flew from one end to another, with minimum logic and more of empathy. Colour is of course my own 🙂

Hard to understand alone-ness and death. I think it stems from our containment before birth and subsequent shock in terrestrial life where we part and join. Incomplete compromises for the identity within its whole, the whole self who encompasses our part, its aloneness and togetherness. Born alone and die alone and in between …. we may hope to find our place as a part of our whole, while he/she is alive.

So sad from the perspective that I knew someone who might write this about me… although I never intended to hurt anyone. Beautiful and tragic. Thx for sharing.

That is a very difficult situation; unintentional hurt, guilt and inability to do anything about it! may you and the other person find peace and forgiveness in hearts!
