Silence of a dark night
deafening for the soul
Looking towards redemption
Stories untold
Life is but a prism
Colours separating from the seams
Dark ones are quiet
Light ones scream
May be we are prisoners
our small deeds
Considered crimes
Punishable indeed
As the night passes
we are left without words
travelling long distances
returning where we stood
the dawn appears at last
Time to wear our masks
I love this moon. More than perfect.

I love the moon! And you captured it so beautifully!
I like taking night walks…to look up at the moon and stars. They give me a sense of peace and joy…an put my life and problems in perspective.
Thank you for sharing your words and photos!

Hum, so true. Sad but true. –“time to wear our mask”. Doesn’t have to be that way though, don’t you think?

I’ve been there. So difficult for so many just to be themselves. With age, prayer, understanding and much personal healing, it’s easier and easier to leave the mask off. Phew. Hope that many others would be able to too.
Blessings =)

Beautiful. You traverse the shunned space behind the face we face one another and the world with. Open our raw depths and touch, so immediate, like night dew ! Thank you.
