However it is
It’s my home
My castle, my life
In hunger, in strife
My refuge, my dome
It’s my home

Don’t say bad things
it’s not posh
You look through my eyes
It’s better than
White House
It’s better than
even Rome
It’s my home

Life has been tough
I hit the rough
many times
Each time I know
What to read
Where is my tome
It’s my home

Invaders have come
Bruises and some
Scorching sun
Making sure I burn
This will be life, and
It’s my home

      1. I would like to know more about the photographs. Do you take them? If so might you tell us where they were taken and possibly what inspired you to capture them for posterity?

      2. Thank you for your comment, all photographs have been taken by me are on this site, I normally leave the clue about where those have been taken in the categories (this one was taken in Pakistan) or in metadata, why I take them, what inspires me…that is a million dollar question, I wish I could you give a satisfactory logical answer but I am unable to do so. All I can say that I have certain empathy for my fellow beings and that leads me to do things and write scribblings as presented here. Beyond that who knows 🙂

  1. This post is making me wish for home, AB. 🙂 Nonetheless, home is where the heart will always be no matter where you go. No other place like it.
