I am nearly dearly here
Another beautiful day
Another amazing morn
Sapiens will wake up
New ideas will be born
Trees, flowers, orchids
Gardens will be adorned
Just for a moment
When you have one
Think life without me
Tell me what you see
winter, spring, summer or fall
morning run or evening ball,
flower beds, trees so tall,
bird tweets and cockerel call,
Nothing?…you say nothing at all

Splendid

Beauuuuuttttttiiiiiifulllllll. I love this photo AB. And the poem is so befitting of it. I can imagine you writing this first thing in the morning and thinking over time spent in this lovely place.

P.S. Is this on the coast of SΓ£o Paulo? It looks like it.

REALLY? I even checked with my hubby and even he thought it was ‘litoral Paulista’. Beautiful shot.
And once again I blush, ‘garota linda’.

You lucky dog. I’m so jealous. When I was in Rio, I stayed at a motel (although it was super close to the beach). I then found out during my stay that motels were used for sex. Talk about weird. Motels in Canada are just a cheaper form of accommodation, but by no means a place for a fling.

I understand that dynamic, I am so sorry to hear that…motels globally are cheaper accommodation except for some places…yes I have been very lucky…once I stayed in Copacabana Palace for a week as well…so extremely extremely lucky!

Hm interesting when these get passed through the wordpress”reader”. “Nothing” is a good answer for me. Whenever I see beauty I am so quick to put words on it. It takes remarkable discipline just to let it be.

Heyyyyy AB, I know I’ve already commented on this one, but I love the pic and poem. Thought I’d express my appreciation of it again.
“Olha que coisa mais linda
Mais cheia de graça
Γ ela menina
Que vem e que passa
Num doce balanço
A caminho do mar”
I bet you saw many ‘garotas de Ipanema’ when you were there eh?
Hehehehe

Hi AB! π I enjoy seeing sunrises in beautiful places too. I hope one day I will be an βearly birdβ who sees a wonderful sunrise after a long night of rest, but alas I am still stuck in nightingale mode. I am lucky if I can get to bed an hour or two before the sun rises. I hope you are doing well and are in a place where the sun does not set by 5:00 p.m. the way it does here now. Take care, my dear friend. π

Hello Arlene, so good to hear from you! Perhaps you should enjoy sun rise before you go to sleep nightingale of the west π
Weary beautiful eyes, million sighs, life and its travails, sun rises, and I keep pondering, when and if ever, I see you rise, with wide open eyes, and an invigorated soul

I am happy to hear from you too, AB! π Thank you for your wonderful words. I have tried to stay awake for the sunrise a few times —
Glorious fiery orb, seen by the nightingaleβs eyes, may your warmth and beauty stay with me though fatigue mutes all my senses and I fall into the darkness of a sleep that ends with an exhausting awakening . . .
I miss the days when night was for rest instead of a time dominated by my restless mind.
I hope you sleep well, my dear friend. π

Thank you, AB. π I am glad that you enjoyed my words. It was another late nightingale night for me, but I did get some rest. Yes, the day will unfold in its own way independently of what I do or say. π
