society faults severely
battle lines being drawn
poor’s dire, desperate living
dark nightmare with no dawn
yachts, condominiums, carriages
rich thriving, enjoying more
peasants, workers, destitute
thrown out of city doors
their voices drown in thunder
of sewage Niagara Falls
head down work in shame
infinitely oppressed raise the call
inflation equates subjugation
poverty chained castigation
eternally trapped inside ghettos
while affluent enjoying gelatos
inequality to end some day
natural continuum calling noon
daggers sharpened to extreme
killing commencing soon
ending human crime
revolution it will be called
opulence brought to justice
cleansing without consequence
no one spared no armistice

I love the colours here. You are very good at capturing the colours in the world around you. Excuse the ignorance but what does the wording translate to in English?

Many thanks for your kind comment π my Portuguese is quite basic, but I believe it says – the rich want peace as they want to become more richer, while for poor peace allow them to be at least alive.

Hey there AB, great picture and such vibrant colors. The translation is pretty good. Just a little change – “The rich want peace so they can continue being rich. We want peace just to stay alive.
Was this photo taken in a favela?
Blessings =)
