Stay away stranger
this is not your land
Come any closer
you may not
have a hand
this is my fiefdom
these pastures,
green heaven,
Don’t you see
these lands
belong to me
Great one. Love ducks – feisty. goes nicely with the picture. I reblogged “from within the mind” with a pencil drawing I did. Thanks for your like on it.
So funny! There’s a lot if this going around at our house in the spring. We have two big trees with list of deadwood, so they turn into bird nest condos.
Love it! Ducks and geese are full of fire and brimstone. A few years ago, I made the mistake of wandering near a group of ducks with no food in my hand. Uh-Oh. Obviously, they were used to people feeding them, and they were quick to let me know, in no uncertain terms, that I had fallen short of their expectations! https://storieswithnobooks.com/2012/12/30/duck-quack-reprimand/
