Secrets of the universe
a child revealed to me
Birds are actually fishes
who live in the sea
When the day breaks
they fly into the air
Reaching wherever
they want to be
Buildings be the monsters,
Trees talking to me,
Trains are large serpents,
Whales are planes
of the sea
When we get older,
We forget these amazing treasures
Never pushing the limits
Testing the destiny
beautiful piece of writing 🙂

It’s a blessing to keep the child alive within. Your poem reminded me of “The Little Prince” book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It’s a fantastic story and a must read 🙂

Thank you for your kind comments, my words are really humble and I did consult a four year little soul before coming up with those 🙂 I will definitely have a look at the book 🙂

Delightful. I now see what you were referring to a while back. And don’t ask me about it, because I can remember only the gist. 🙂

Beautiful! I like your writing style. I am from Pakistan too. People have very negative views about Pakistan and many times it seems that for the sake of your honor you should not tell someone that you are Pakistani. But your blog make me feel good about where I belong.

Oh Pakistan is wonderful 🙂 may it come out of the current crisis, beautiful pen name does it mean breeze of dawn or after dawn 🙂

I had “breeze of dawn” in my mind when I chose this name, but “after dawn” ..um..you gave it a new perspective.
