Pigeons are nice except in an ice arena. We have several flying about in our closed in arena, and they are trapped. No where to go in these freezing temperatures.
They talk and you find their Coats (sic) beautiful, very very nicely put 🙂 Bravo 🙂 this is a coat-able coat 😉 I mean quite a quotable quote 🙂
Ui! I run in my kitchen, birdseed get. With me home there come regularly four ringlet pigeons and some Turk’s pigeons. I Love birds.
Good morning, AB 🙂
Thank you for liking “A Glimpse of My World: Downtown Sacramento” and “Fossils.” I can relate to this poem because of my experiences with birds at my home. I don’t have pigeons here, but I do see magpies, sparrows, blue jays, hummingbirds, and the occasional woodpecker. They are beautiful to look at, but I especially like the beautiful songs they sing during the warmer months of the year. Sometimes so many birds are singing in the trees in my yard that they drown out a lot of other noises in the neighborhood. Some of them sing for awhile during the day, and some of them sing at night. However, they also have to watch out for my dog and cats.
You are welcome. I enjoyed your clever and fun reply. It is like your “Windows 8” photo. 🙂 Is the rainbow in your “Windows 8” photo the same rainbow featured in your “Unicorn” post?
Thank you. I make a living paying attention to details. However, I am surprised that I am able to notice anything when I usually get only 4 or 5 hours of sleep and have weird dreams like running barefoot in the rain. 🙂

The pigeons always seem busy. I like to hear them “talk”. And I find their iridescent coat. 🙂

I like pigeons. Our house has so many of them that it has practically become an aviary.

That is tough, the house would require lots of cleaning up on a daily basis 🙂

Nobody lives in that part of the house. We’ve left pigeons to the upper floor until we can get a tenant.

I am not very fond of pigeons as pets (because they are really messy creatures) but when they are free it is fun to watch them. 🙂
