Shades of grey

white, black and in between
all shades are eternal
unknown reflections
unheard sounds of passion

a water lily says to a rose
in deep north when all froze
how you survive, and revive

I go grey, and stay in dark hearts
until I hear spring calling my name
greens, blues, pink became
in existence again

a full bloom rose is required
to conclude season’s surprise
I rise, love is the prize
for grey’s sacrifice

    1. Thank you for your contribution to this work. I agree with you, furthermore interpretation of the is very much linked to personalities. Some people find black attractive and pink and red corny, some are drawn towards pure grey or brown πŸ™‚

      1. We are all different then πŸ™‚ Roses are my favorite flowers, maybe if it was another flower in the photo I would feel different, but rose… You know when you see something dear to you not resembling what you remembered it to be? That. πŸ™‚

      2. That is a great thought…when you observe something outside its expected colour, behaviour pattern etc. especially the dear ones πŸ™‚

    1. Many thanks for your comment and query. Basic thought is ‘How all of us see these shades differently’ and what attracts one person may be completely repelling for another πŸ™‚

    1. Many thanks MM, I know, however words are not a visual aid, they are just words wanting to talk to me and let me know they exist, I am a mere messenger to convey their desires – sometimes they don’t make sense…but I am not the complaining type πŸ˜€
